Who we are

Outback Lifting Pty Ltd (ABN 13 687 144 743), 1/40 Boyland Avenue, Coopers Plains QLD 4108. We supply conductor rail and industrial radio remote controls to businesses. In this policy, “we” and “us” means Outback Lifting Pty Ltd.

What we collect

We only collect what you send us:

• Quote requests: your name, company, email address, phone number, the product you are asking about and the details of your job.
• Emails and phone calls: whatever you choose to tell us, and your contact details.
• Orders: billing and delivery details, and your ABN where needed for invoicing.

The website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running.

How we use it

• To answer your enquiry, size the system and prepare a quote.
• To supply, deliver and support what you order, and to invoice you.
• To contact you about safety notices or product recalls affecting equipment you bought from us.
• To meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell or rent your details. We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote. If we ever send marketing emails, we will only send them with your consent, and every one will have a working unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the business, and only for that purpose:

• Website hosting and email delivery: the site is hosted by Vercel and quote requests are delivered by email through Resend. Their servers may be outside Australia, including in the United States and Japan.
• Email and records: Microsoft 365 for our email and business files.
• Freight and manufacturers: delivery details to the carrier, and the technical details of your job (not your personal details unless needed) to the manufacturer when a system is made to order.
• Our accountant and government agencies where the law requires it.

Keeping it safe

We keep your details in password-protected business systems that only our staff can reach, and we delete or de-identify them when we no longer need them for the purposes above or to meet our record-keeping obligations.

Seeing or correcting your details

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing office@outbacklifting.com.au or calling 07 3185 0275. We will reply within 30 days.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, contact us first and we will try to fix it. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

We will update this page if the way we handle information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
