For runways where the current goes beyond what a copper single-pole system carries economically. An aluminium alloy conductor with a cold-welded stainless steel contact face, 200A to 1250A, in 4.5 m and 6 m sections.
- High current without the copper price. The aluminium alloy body carries the current and a stainless steel strip takes the wear, giving high capacity at a lower cost per metre than copper at the same rating.
- No copper-to-aluminium corrosion at the contact. The stainless contact face is cold pressure welded into the conductor, removing the bi-metallic corrosion problem of a copper brush running directly on aluminium. The manufacturer rates the contact surface for more than 10 years of service.
- A smooth ride for the collector. The contact face is formed into a V-groove that keeps the collector tracking steadily at speed.
- Long spans, fewer hangers. 4.5 m sections for 200–400A and 6 m sections for 500–1250A, with standard hanger spacing of 1.2 m.

Send us the runway length, supply voltage, crane current draw or motor kW, and the number of poles required, and we will size the system and quote it. Installation and connection must be carried out by a licensed electrician in accordance with AS/NZS 3000.
